A well-written letter of application is as important as a well-prepared CV. Each letter should be different, adjusted to the work post one is applying, to the company and expectations.
What should it contain?
• Introduction - it should draw the reader’s attention. One should write what post he/she is applying for and why, and address it to a particular person not department or company in general.
• Content - should not be too long. One should briefly convince the employer about the attractiveness of one’s candidacy.
• Conclusion - polite expression, signature, list of attachments (if there are any), and data processing agreement.
